Searching for Books in I-Share

What if Triton doesn't have the book that you want?

If there are no matches for your book in the Triton College catalog, you can also search the I-Share catalog, which includes the collections of more than 90 other academic libraries in Illinois.


Searching for Books in I-Share

1. Go to the Library's website, library.triton.edu, and click on the "Find Books" tab. Then, click on the link for "I-Share."


2. Enter your search term in the search box and click on the “Find” button. For example, you can search by subject, author, or the full title of the book.


3. To request a book, you will need to click on the title. The, scroll down to the "Get It" section and click on “I-Share." If all of the information is correct, click on "Request." You will receive an email at your triton.edu email account when your book is ready to be picked up. 

NOTE: You will need to login to your library account using your MyTriton portal username and password to request books and view pending requests. Please click for more information on your using your library account.
