Circulation Periods

Loanable Technology for Students

  • Loaned laptops and graphing calculators are due at the end of each lending semester. Check HERE for exact due dates.
  • In-house laptop use is available for 3 hours, and users must remain on the library premises.
  • In-house use of chargers (for laptops, MacBooks, iPhones, and Android phones) is available for a period of 3 hours, and users are required to remain on the library premises while these items are in use.

Course Reserves

  • Course Reserve books are available for students and staff for a period of 3 hours, and users are required to remain on the library premises while these items are in use.

Physical Items - Books

  • Student-28 days (2 renewals for up to 84 days)
  • Faculty- 3 months (2 renewals)
  • Staff- 28 days (2 renewals for up to 84 days)
  • Community members* -28 (2 renewals for up to 84 days)

If you have a local library card from a library within the Triton College District and would like to borrow books from the Triton College Library collection, please visit the Library Services desk with your local library card and another form of ID to request borrowing privileges.

Fines

The library does not charge overdue fines for most materials. If items are not returned within the appropriate time frame, their status will switch to lost, and the library will charge the patron for the cost of the lost item.
