Ebook Databases


Browse Biblioboard for ebooks or dive into a specifc ebook collection and start reading today:

  • Recovering the Classics features classics from world literature, with modern cover images
  • Popup Picks are curated ebook selections that rotate every 3 months, and are largely from independent publishers
  • Indie Illinois features non-fiction and fiction for all ages by Illinois authors
  • The Bodleian Library collection features pages from Shakespeare's First Folio and other items from Oxford University's Bodleian Library
  • The Biblioboard Core contains 400 anthologies--including literature, philosophy, history, geography, and science--with more than 14,000 full-text eBooks and 24,000 pieces of primary source content 

Open Educational Resource Collections (OERs)
The BiblioBoard homepage includes a variety of open educational resource collections for unlimited use and download. For example, the Knowledge Unlatched collection includes over 100 scholarly journals and books covering a variety of fields, including anthropology, gender studies, health and medicine, history, music and performing arts, political science, religious studies, and more.

Recreational Reading

The McNaughton Recreational Reading Collection is a changing collection of current best-sellers and novels. The collection is located at the northeastern end of the Library with a sign that says "Recreational Reading." It is near the Graphic Novel and Young Adult collections to facilitate browsing and encourage reading for pleasure. These books are searchable in our online catalog and may be checked out for four weeks on a first come, first served basis.
