How do I find my textbook in the Library?
Although the Library does not have a copy of every textbook on campus, we do have quite a few! You can check if the Library has a copy of your textbook on reserve by visiting the Course Reserves page, which lists all of our available textbooks alphabetically by title. Textbooks on course reserve can be used in the Library with a student ID.

How do I print?
Current students need their Triton ID to print and will log in to the printing system using their MyTriton Portal username and password. New student ID cards may be obtained at the Triton College Welcome Center located in the B Building.
Other library patrons can print and copy using a guest card, available for purchase at the Cashier's Office located in the B Building.
How do I check out a laptop in the Library?
Students can check out a laptop using your Triton ID card and your driver's license/state ID card. You may print from laptops to the Library printers using your student ID card. Please visit the Circulation Desk to check out a laptop.
How do I reserve a group study room?
Group study rooms are available for use by two or more students to study or work collaboratively. Rooms can be reserved up to one week in advance by calling the Circulation Desk at 708-456-0300 ext. 3215.
How do I check out a book?
Books from the main collection may be checked out at the Circulation Desk by Triton employees, students, and community members. Triton faculty and students need to show their ID cards to check out a book. Community members may check out up to three books using a valid, in-district public library card.
How do I renew a book?
On the Library Homepage, select My Library Account. Login with the requested information, then select "Checked Out Items" on the right side of the page. From there, select the renew button, then click "Renew Selected Items." You may not renew overdue books.
How do I create a library or I-Share account?
On the Library Homepage, select My Library Account. In the top right-hand corner of the screen, click Login, then choose "Create New Account." Fill out the requested information. Your borrower ID number is the 17-digit number on the bottom of your Triton ID card. You can also look up this information in your MyTriton Portal account. If you encounter any issues, please contact a staff member for help.
